The IUCAA page and participant list gives local details about the workshop and the official list of participants. The meeting participants and their research interests with photos will help in identifying other participants. Our Facebook group is a great place to post photos.

As we go along I will post material in folders below this ftp site. You should bookmark it for easy access.

Before the meeting

Have a laptop with a working copy of the special version of Cloudy we will use during the workshop, and PDF copies of the documentation. The files are on the class ftp site and the instructions for setting up Cloudy are here, and a video showing how to do it is here.

Each day will concentrate on a chapter of Osterbrock & Ferland, Astrophysics of Gaseous Nebulae and Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN3). Please review that chapter before the class. This is the third version of the book. Any of the previous versions of Osterbrock will be OK. Copies of the book have been placed on reserve in the IUCAA library.
